I’d say that’s as good an omen as any. THANK YOU, EVERYONE! Loving all of your comments and ideas - I have a few more entries queued up (next post coming your way after the Sunday PBS installment!), but I’ll get to interspersing new submissions on the blog soon.

I am also (slowly) wading through my inbox to be able to respond / send messages to everyone in a proper manner - but since I got a few lovely anonymous comments, thought I’d take a moment to reply to these wonderfully nameless internet people all together now:

  • Can you read my mind? Because it’s like you took everything that I love and hold most dearly (period drama and Beyonce) and mashed it all together into a symphony of bliss. I’m in love. With Downton Abbeyonce. I am so glad you love these two things as much as I do. Even though I have mixed feelings about the latter half of Downton S2 - but that is neither here nor there.
  • My new homepage. 4 real. I am truly honored.
  • Discovering this lovely blog had made my day, which up until now was looking as dourly as O’Brien’s face. YOU get bonus points for using the word “dour.”
  • This is one of the best tumblrs I have seen…Great Job! Keep the Beyonce coming! Oh I WILL.

By which I mean, New York Magazine! And apparently a lot of other places, too! Thanks to the internet for all the media shoutouts - because of you, I can now have a quasi-legit PRESS section on this blog. How friggin’ exciting. 

Anyway, welcome to all of you beautiful followers / readers old and new, thanks for all of your comments, and keep submitting ideas! I should also probably thank Babyoncé, because I’m pretty sure she’s the only reason this even made it on to the radar.

P.S. If you haven’t figured it out already, there are, in fact, S2 spoilers on here. Sorry. I’ll try to refrain from posting anything too revealing before S2 finishes up in the U.S.!
